For Mary Spannagel, her chamber journey began when she started working for the Oklahoma Blood Institute.

"I've been a member for a long time," she said.

OBI is also a member of the Lawton Fort Sill Co-Op, which she said has been instrumental in building relationships between Fort Sill and OBI.

"I believe it is important to be engaged and involved with our community," she said. "The chamber offers many avenues to do this, like Breakfast B4 Business and Business After Hours."

Spannagel is also a Redcoat and enjoys "the opportunity to meet and get to know those new businesses in town."

"Our chamber is the go-to place to get information on what’s going on in our community," she said. "They offer a variety of committees you are encouraged to be a part of. I have met the neatest people who have become lifelong friends."
