Great Plains also promotes the economic development of southwest Oklahoma by assisting businesses and organizations to continually improve their operations.
Averaging 6000 students, it is a 100 year old higher education institution under the University of Oklahoma Board of Regents. The campus continues to undergo a transformation with more than $54.5 million in capital improvement projects. The Center for Emerging Technology and Entrepreneurial Studies (CETES) is the university's initiative to lead the economic development of southwest Oklahoma. Small classes, excellent faculty and the finest in student housing produces a truly unique university atmosphere. Cameron University is large enough to offer the programs wanted, yet small enough to call home.
