Lawton Public Schools includes 26 elementary schools, four middle schools, three high schools, two Headstart/Pre-K centers and one secondary alternative school.  LPS is particularly proud of winning the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) School of the Year.

Lawton Christian School an independent, co-educational, interdenominational, non-profit, Christian day school for students in grades PK-3 – 12.  It was founded in 1976 and currently has 400 students.

Cameron University, founded in 1901, offers more than 50 degrees are offered through two-year, four-year and graduate programs. The Center for Emerging Technology and Entrepreneurial Studies (CETES) is the university’s initiative to lead the economic development of southwest Oklahoma.

Platt College exists to create a workforce of professionals with the skills and training necessary to answer the needs of today’s and tomorrow’s workplace.

The University of Oklahoma at Fort Sill offers master’s degree programs in Public Administration, International Relations, Human Relations, Economics and Communication offering degree programs that can be completed in the classroom, online or a combination of both.

Webster University provides accredited undergraduate and graduate school education to students at Fort Sill, Oklahoma and across the world. With opportunities to study at Fort Sill or earn a degree online, academic programs are focused on student success and taught by faculty with professional experience in their academic fields.

Upper Iowa University at Fort Sill, OK, offers classes on post to both military personnel and family members as well as civilians in the area. UIU offers two associate programs and a bachelor’s of science degree in five majors. Courses can also be blended with UIU distance learning programs(online and self-paced) to complete twelve other majors.
