Armed Forces Day Parade

The Armed Forces Day Parade will begin at 10 a.m., heading west on C Avenue from 6th Street, before turning north on 11th Street. Participants will then head north on Fort Sill Boulevard before ending on the corner of Fort Sill Blvd. and Ferris Ave.

Touted in years past as the largest Armed Forces Day parade in the nation, Lawton Fort Sill’s Armed Forces Day parade typically draws in around 100 parade entries, several military vehicles, and hundreds of marching soldiers. Bands, community and business floats, military officials and veterans unite in tribute to the men and women who have served our nation, past and present. This showing of solidarity helps to renew the community’s support for our local soldiers, as well as soldiers serving abroad.
